Effective 5 February 2024:

To align with Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada’s announcements regarding limited available housing for international students and newcomers, Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) will focus its international student admissions and enrolment on students who have pre-determined Winnipeg accommodation, including students who plan to live with friends and family already living in Winnipeg or students who apply to participate in Louis Riel School Division’s homestay program. Authenticity of the Winnipeg address including confirmation from the local resident may be requested and confirmed by the Program. Applications from students who plan to relocate with families who require housing in the LRSD catchment area will not be considered. 

ELEMENTARY (K-8) SCHOOLS ARE AT CAPACITY FOR THE 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEARS. ELEMENTARY APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

POST-SECONDARY/ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED:

• All available seats in LRSD's ATC’s September 2024 day time post-secondary programs have been filled by domestic students and waitlisted international students.
• Updates regarding 2025 intake(s) will be posted on the ISP website at https://www.lrsd.net/isp/page/5109/lrsd-post-secondary-at-lratc

Please make sure you have all the required information for the application process. You will have two weeks (20 days) to submit an application once you create a new application. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Students planning to graduate with a Manitoba High School Diploma must successfully complete two full semesters in grade 12.
