Welcome to our Homestay Application.

This application is for people who live in the catchment area of Claremont Secondary, Stellys Secondary, or Parkland Secondary.

You may wonder why we ask so many questions on this application. This information will be used in the future to select the best student for your family and to create your host family profile, so we are trying to get a detailed picture of your family.

Some things to consider when filling out this application:

1. More detail is always helpful. For instance knowing that you like all sports is not very useful, but knowing that your favourite sport is tennis or hockey is much better. Maybe we have a student that shares your interests. Even things that you no longer practice, but are familiar with can be very helpful. If we have a student that would like to be involved in horse riding for instance, and you know where to find a good horse for them to ride while they are here, then we can consider placing that student with you.

2. Some of this information will be copied directly to the Host Family Profile so think about how it might sound to the parents of your new student and to the student.

Once we receive your application one of our Homestay Coordinators will contact you by email to schedule a home visit and interview.
