Before you begin

 

Livingstone Range School Division will only accept complete applications using our secure online application system. Mailed, emailed, or faxed applications are no longer accepted. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

 

Before you begin the online application process, please make sure you have collected all the necessary information and documents. You will need the applicant’s complete information and at least one parent’s complete information. This includes names, birthdates, addresses, etc. Required and recommended documents (see below) must be submitted as PDF or JPEG files only and less than 5MB each. If any document is larger than 5MB, it has been scanned at too high a resolution and must be rescanned at a lower resolution before beginning the application process.

 

Required documents

 

In order to submit an application, the documents listed below are required. These documents are embedded within the application and can be downloaded to be completed and signed. If you do not upload these documents into the online application system, you cannot complete the application process. If you do not submit a complete application within sixty (60) days, the partial application will be automatically deleted.

 

1. Legal agreement. The parent(s) the application must sign our agreement. Before starting the application process, please download the Homestay Family Letter of Agreement, have it signed in ink, and scanned as a PDF or JPEG file only.
2. Criminal Record Check- Please download the Criminal Record Check Disclosure Request, please complete and take to your local police detachment, once complete, scan as a PDF or JPEG file only.
3. Host Family Letter - please write a letter introducing your family and what are your interests. It will help the students get a better feel for who you are, once complete, scan as a PDF or JPEG file only.
4. Direct Deposit Form or a copy of a void check, once complete, scan as a PDF or JPEG file only.
5. Photo albums - Some families compile a photo album for our student placement process. Please scan the entire album as one document.
