• When filling out the application it is important that you provide full and detailed answers.  
• Complete the online host family application form BEFORE getting a criminal record check.

Before you begin the online application process, please make sure you have collected all the necessary information and documents.

• Applicant must be 25 years of age or older.
• We require a photo of your family, outside of the home, student room, kitchen, living area and backyard.
  • Required and recommended photos must be submitted as JPEG files only and less than 5MB each. If any document is larger than 5MB, it has been scanned at too high a resolution and must be rescanned at a lower resolution before beginning the application process.

After your application has been approved and we have set up a home visit, we will also require a Criminal Record Check from any adult, aged 18 or older, living in the home or living in a suite or rental on your property. 

 

Once your application has been completed and reviewed by our department, a homestay coordinator will contact you to set up a visit to your home.
