Before you proceed with your application, please read and take note of the following instructions:

 

• The Winnipeg School Division, International Education Program only accepts complete applications using our secure online system. Applications sent via mail, email, or fax will not be accepted.
  
  
• Incomplete or unpaid applications will not be processed.
  
  
• Applications submitted by the student will not be considered
  
  
• To complete the application process, you must pay an application fee of $250 CAD. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid through our secure payment partner, Flywire. You will be directed to the online application system's payment page at the end.
  
  
• E-transfer payment is only available for Canadian bank accounts

Required documents

 

Please upload the following files within 14 days to complete the application, partial applications will be automatically deleted after 30 days.

 

1. Transcripts or report cards. Copies of the student's grades for the last two years, including the original and translated into English (translated and notarized transcripts are required if the student’s goal is to Graduate). Files must only be in PDF or JPEG formats and less than 15MB. Only one transcript file or document is permitted, so please ensure all pages of the record of grades are scanned as a single document.
   
   
2. Passport Photo Page. 
   
   
3. Student Photo. The photo must be current, taken within the last year, and should be of a high quality.
   
   
4. Custodianship Document. If you plan to stay in private accommodation and not participate in the WSD homestay program, you must have an independent custodian. The custodian must meet the following requirements.
   
   • Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
   • Be over 25 years old
   • Live full-time in Winnipeg

1. The custodianship document can be uploaded during the application process or after receiving the Letter of Acceptance. It's important to note that the student cannot attend school without this document.
