Before you begin

 

Saskatoon Public Schools will only accept complete applications using our secure online application system. Mailed, emailed, or faxed applications are not accepted. Incomplete or unpaid applications will not be processed.

 

Before you begin the online application process, please make sure you have collected all the necessary information and documents. You will need the applicant’s complete information and at least one parent’s complete information. This includes names, birthdates, addresses, etc. Required and recommended documents (see below) must be submitted as PDF or JPEG files only and less than 5MB each.

 

The application fee is $250 CAD and is non-refundable. 

 

Required documents

 

In order to submit an application, the documents listed below are required. If you do not upload these documents into the online application system, you cannot complete the application process. If you do not submit a complete application within 30 days, the partial application will be automatically deleted.  (If you need extra time to complete your application, please e-mail your extension request to sie@spsd.sk.ca for us to extend the time.)

 

1. SIE Participation Agreement. The parent(s) and applicant must review, sign and attach the participation agreement.  
   
   
2. Transcripts or Report Cards. You must have a record of grades for the last two years, translated into English. You will only able to upload one document, so please ensure all pages of the records of grades are scanned as a single document.
   
   
3. Passport Photo Page. Please scan the passport photo page of the student's passport. This allows us to double-check the applicant’s information to ensure that all data is correct.
   
   
4. SIE Recommendation Form. Please have a teacher, school counselor, or Headmaster/Principal complete the recommendation form provided in the application. Once this form is completed, you will need to upload it to the application.  
   
   
5. SIE Living Arrangements Documents.  Please read these carefully and provide all the appropriate documents that apply to the student's living situation while studying in Saskatoon. The full package of documents is provided in the application.

If you have other documents, such as awards and activities the student participates in, you can scan these into a single document and load them in the "Other Documents" field in the Admission Documents section of the application.
