International Student Online Application Tips – Coquitlam School District

 

Thank you for your interest in the Coquitlam School District’s International Education program.

 

Please review the following information for preparing the submission of your International Student Online Application. 

 

In order to complete the International Student Online Application you will need access to or the ability to upload files in PDF or JPEG format.  If any uploaded document is more than one (1) page please save it as one (1) file rather than upload multiple pages.

 

If you need to, you can save your progress and return to it at a later time.  International Student Online Applications that have not been completed after 14 days will be deleted.

 

You will need access to the following required information to complete the application:

• Student’s information (passport, date of birth, etc.)
• At least one parent’s information (name, address, contact information)
• Student’s school and academic information; uploaded report cards from the past 2 years are required
• Medical information
• Custodianship information
• Living arrangement information is required if you are NOT requesting a homestay placement through our department; record “Unknown at this time” if the parent(s) plan to live here as well and do not yet know the local address information; report your address information to our office immediately upon arrival to Coquitlam; when completing the Living Arrangement Details section please clearly format the information as follows:

• Other documents that you wish to include in your admission can be uploaded but are not required (some examples include a letter of recommendation from a teacher, TOEFL test score document)
• A non-refundable application fee, payable by credit card, is required along with the application

 

Program Start Dates

Our secondary schools (grades 9 - 12) operate on a semester schedule.  Start dates are September and February.

 

Our elementary and middle schools operate on a yearlong (September to June) schedule.  If you would like to begin your studies mid-year then please select January 1^st at this level.
