FOR NBISP STUDENTS

*NEW* 2024-2025
The 12-Week Program will ONLY be offered to pre-approved student groups (5+ students) attending grades 6-9.

Before you begin

Before you begin the online application process, please make sure you have collected all the necessary information and documents. You will need the applicant’s complete information and at least one parent’s complete information. This includes names, birthdates, addresses, etc. Required documents (see below) must be submitted as a single file, PDF or JPEG files only, and less than 10MB each. If any document is larger than 10MB, it has been scanned at too high a resolution and must be rescanned at a lower resolution before beginning the application process.

The application fee is $500 for the 2024-2025 academic school years and is non-refundable.

PLEASE NOTE: Homestay letters will NOT be dispersed until the NBISP Participation Terms document has been signed and page two of the Custodial document has been signed, notarized, and returned.

Required documents

In order to submit an application, the documents listed below are required. If you do not upload these documents into the online application system, you cannot complete the application process. If you do not submit a complete application within thirty (30) days, the partial application will be automatically deleted.

  1. Transcripts or report cards.  You must have a record of grades for the last two years, translated to English. They must be in PDF or JPEG files only, and less than 10MB in size. You will only able to upload one document, so please ensure all pages of the records of grades are scanned as a single document.
  2. Legal agreement.  Both parent(s) and student must review and sign our Participation Terms.
  3. Passport.  Please scan the applicant's passport photo page. This allows us to double-check the applicant’s information to ensure that all correspondence is correct. If a copy of the passport is not available, please provide a copy of government-issued identification.
  4. Letter of Recommendation.  Please have a teacher, school counselor, or Headmaster/Principal fill out the School Recommendation Form for the applicant. This letter should identify the student's strengths and challenges.
  5. Student Letter of Introduction.  This letter is written by the student and should outline their past studies, their interests and hobbies, their daily life, family, and their future goals.
  6. Student Profile.  This form is to be filled out by the student and should be answered as openly and honestly as possible.  This is a tool to further understand the student's personality, lifestyle, and preferences.
  7. Medical History and Information.  This form is to be filled as honestly as possible and should include the student's medical history and any current medical conditions.
  8. Immunization records.  Please scan as a single document all immunization records relevant to the student's medical history (note: proof of COVID-19 vaccination is no longer mandatory).

Recommended Documents

  1. Photo album. Some students wish to compile a photo album for our homestay placement process. Please scan the entire album as one document.
  2. Other documents. If you have another document pertinent to admission, such as a student interview form, please submit it as a single document.
